Because we are in the great state of Washington, we are lucky to have two different varieties of cherries growing on our farm. First, you will find your typical ruby- red cherry that are sweet and juicy with a hint of acid. The firm interior makes for a delicious, firm bite every time. The second most popular cherry in Washington is the Rainer. They are not as deep
in color as your commonly found ruby- red cherries, but just as delicious! Rainer Cherries originated in 1952 after researchers from the Washington Agriculture Experiment Station crossed the Bing and Red cherry varieties in Prosser, WA. This yellow- reddish cherry is super sweet and adds much more variety to your cherry experience! Come to Beck’s Harvest house from May to August for prime cherry picking! They’re so good you’ll think they came from a cherry fairy!
