We are lucky to have two different types of U-pick cherries at Harvest House: Bing & Rainier. Both are delicious eaten fresh and perfect for pies, tarts, jams, and other desserts!
Please call ahead for U-pick times before coming up! (509) 238-6970
Bing cherries are the most popular cherries in our area. They are dark red and grow darker as they ripen. They're sweet and tangy with a vibrant aftertaste!
Rainier cherries, also known as the "white cherry," are another local favorite! They are yellow with a blush of red and sweeter than Bing cherries. Rainer Cherries originated in 1952 after researchers from the Washington Agriculture Experiment Station crossed the Bing and Red cherry varieties in Prosser, WA.
Cherries are usually ready for picking in mid-July and go until they are picked out!
